The Keys of Our Evolution
As living organisms, organisations are able to adapt, reinvent themselves and evolve in response to new needs and big challenges, making a significant contribution to the development of a more equitable, more humane and more sustainable society.
NER by K2K is a living organisation. Ainara, Alicia, Jabi, Joana, Koldo, Pablo, Peio, Óscar and Xavier are fully involved, sharing their thoughts, actions and feelings in an environment that encourages personal freedom and gives a sense of collective purpose. Our approach to transformation leads to ongoing learning. We are aware that, just like every person is unique, every organisation is unique too, so the New Style of Relationships (NER) must be adapted to take into account the idiosyncrasy and the context of every organisation we work with.
This framework, and the idea that collective intelligence is one of the most powerful and effective tools we can use in volatile, complex environments, have guided our evolution, aimed at
improving our proposal and adjusting it to organisations’ needs for change and to the emerging demands of individuals and of mankind at large.
An evolving organisation is an organisation that is alive, no matter how big or small. At NER by K2K, we evolve because we think, we act and we feel, because we live in the present, with people, and we experience things together. Since we want to be consistent with the principles of transparency and generosity that characterise NER, as well as with the values we stand for, we would like to share the keys of our own evolution over the past few years.
These keys will be shared in nine chapters. Each chapter includes an article, a video featuring one of the members of our team and an illustration. Here we are going to reveal the chapter titles only: “Willing to Share”, “Redesigning Services”, “Transforming the Territory”, “Growing Horizontally”, “Understanding the Importance of Communication”, “Moving Towards the Digital Transformation” and “Being Free to Experiment”.
We are a professional team led by Koldo Saratxaga, the architect of the New Style of Relationships (ner) in organisations.
We implement NER in all kinds of organisations, particularly businesses, administrations, associations and learning centres, among others. NER is grounded in fundamental principles and values. It can be adapted to each organisation, developing a variety of customised tools and techniques
to enable organisational changes in business projects when a transformation is needed but people can think of no ways of delivering it successfully.
We are facilitators, dynamising agents, enthusiastic people with proven experience in making organisational change happen by introducing a radically different approach to management where people acquire knowledge and this leads to an enhanced organisation.
Koldo Saratxaga is the man behind Ner Group, an association of about 30 Basque companies sharing the New Style of Relationships (ner). We are part of them too.
The members of Ner Group share experiences, exchange knowledge and build synergies to move forward, become more efficient, get better results and go farther. Deeply committed to society, the association has the goal of achieving fair and sustainable human development.
About 2,700 people make Ner Group’s combined workforce. The group records a of 400 million euro in 60 countries. The association is made of different types of organisations in terms of their legal types (limited or public limited companies, cooperatives, even NGOs), their size (from micro enterprises to big corporations with hundreds of employees in multiple countries) and sector (manufacturing industry, public administration, education, services, etc.).
